Very responsive, with a call to say there would be a short delay due to heavy traffic. Delivery was still quick. I paid the price, but thought it was expensive.
Royal Doulton Morning Star - T.C.1026 - Fine China and Translucent Fruit Saucer
Very pleased to complete a set, but the product I received did not quite match the rest of the set. The original product was 'English translucent china' and the new was 'fine china' There was a marked difference between them

Thank you for your feedback. On this pattern we list Fine China and Translucent on the same stock line. The manufacturer changed the wording as customers did not understand the term 'translucent'. If a pattern is produced over a long period of time there may be slight differences due to changing production techniques. Please let me know if you are not happy to keep the bowls. We do not have any in stock at the moment but are happy to let you know when we get some 'translucent' ones in stock.

I am happy to keep the bowls. They look fine, but there is a marked difference from my originals which are much finer. Still very pleased to complete the set.
