Tell me more about how you pack your china
Our packing materials are very important to us: we have spent the last 25 years perfecting the fine art of packing! Over the years we have found newspaper to be the best packing material by a long way - it is readily available, easy to dispose of and a very effective shock absorber.
We have also introduced a new type of packaging - retention packaging. This is a cardboard box with a strip of plastic which secures items. There are a number of advantages to this type of packaging - it reduces damage in transit, is very light, uses much less packaging and is as recyclable as cardboard.
Both of these options are perfect for transporting china - safe, secure and easily recyclable!
Tell me more about how you try to stay green
We do everything we can to minimise our environmental impact - it is something we are passionate about, as our whole business is built on people recycling their tableware. As well as re-using boxes sent to us by customers and other suppliers, we re-use any newspaper, bubble wrap and polystyrene chips that have been sent to us. This isn't always the prettiest means of transporting our china, but we have found it to be the most environmentally responsible and secure means of getting your delicate china to you in one piece.
