  Jan 2nd 2021Bought as a Christmas gift for a dear friend, who had been searching for a small, bone china mug. She was absolutely delighted. It really is beautiful and, having grown up in the Potteries, with my mum (before having us kids) working as a Wedgwood free hand paintress and my dad working from his teens to retirement as a Wedgwood mould maker, I have always found their ware to be second to none and not just because I’m biased. I used to compare the quality with other local manufacturers and even their, so called, seconds were better quality. I don’t know if they still produce these at the factory in Barlaston, but this mug really is very beautiful indeed.
