I was really amazed and delighted at the ecological packing - using newspaper to pad the packaging and safeguard the china rather than using bubblewrap or plastic inflated pads which most sellers seem to use these days. Congratulations on your care for the environment.

Was delighted to find both the oatmeal/cereal/soup bowl and the fruit saucer which enabled me to bring my set of Hampstead dishes up to 6 again as unfortunately four bowls had been broken or badly damaged since. they were given to my late husband and me as wedding gifts back in 1987.

Wonderful finding a company that stocked this china which was discontinued many years ago and enabled me to replace broken items from my set of Hampstead china which were wedding gifts for my previous marriage back in 1987. Unfortunately the retailer in Guernsey who was the sole agent for Royal Doulton did not let us know, as premised, when the range was discontinued so we could not buy any items they had in stock.
