  • Pattern Description
Adams & Sons was purchased by Wedgwood January 1st 1966 and they continued to produce and design new patterns under Adams under Wedgwood. Among the new tableware patterns brought on line was Jeddo IV an ‘Indian Tree’ type tree and floral design (a continuation of a J.Meir & Son pattern.) (unlike any of the other Adam’s Jeddos), originally transferred to Adams by Wedgwood. The ‘IV’ is assigned to distinguish it from other Adam’s nineteenth and early twentieth century patterns of the same name.

Featuring rope edge pieces with an Indian type tree and pink and yellow flowers sprouting from the tan coloured stems and a scroll and flower border, the pattern on Gadroon shape was a strong seller through Bollweg of Germany and later, ten inch service plates were produced on the moulded Laurel shape. The decoration for these was done as a quasi-enamelled chromolith.
